I bring years of experience and study in tattooing, along with years of drawing practice, to create something that exceeds your expectations.

How to book

From your idea to your skin.

From the first conversation to healing. Every stage has its own pace and nothing moves forward without your approval.

01

Your idea

You bring an image, a story or an intuition. We look at references, placement, scale and what the piece should say.

02

Design

The idea is drawn for your body. Personal, yours only and freehand whenever the anatomy of the piece calls for it.

03

Sessions

We work to a clear calendar and at the pace your skin needs. Large pieces grow one session at a time.

Healing

The piece is cleaned, protected and you leave with clear aftercare. I follow up while the black settles.

Questions

Before you write.

I'm visiting Barcelona — how do I book from abroad?

I regularly work with people travelling to Barcelona. The consultation happens by video call or email, your session is booked before you land, and you leave with aftercare instructions designed for the trip home. If you like, you can also take a signed print of your design as a keepsake.

Tell me your dates in the booking form and we'll plan around them.

How much does a blackwork tattoo cost?

Every piece is quoted individually at the consultation — design, placement, size and the sessions it needs. I only do custom work, so there's no price list because no two pieces are the same.

A deposit secures your date and is deducted from the total.

How does freehand work? What if I don't like the design?

The design is drawn with markers directly on your skin, adapted to your anatomy. You look at it calmly, we discuss it, and whatever needs changing gets changed: the needle doesn't start until you're convinced. For non-freehand pieces you'll see the design before the session, with room for adjustments.

My piece is big — how many sessions will it take?

It depends on size and black density: an arm or back piece usually runs from two to five or more sessions, spaced out so the skin heals properly. At the consultation you get a clear estimate and a calendar, and the project moves at your pace.

Does it hurt? How do I prepare for a long session?

It hurts as much as it should, and it depends a lot on the placement. To handle it well: sleep, eat before coming, hydrate, and skip alcohol the day before. Sessions include breaks and adapt to you — nobody "toughs it out for pride" in my studio.

What happens afterwards? Healing and touch-ups

You leave with an aftercare guide specific to blackwork (dense black heals differently) and direct follow-up while it heals. If an area needs it, the touch-up is assessed once the piece is fully healed.

Where does Safo Sepulcro work?

I work by appointment in Barcelona / Montcada i Reixac. Check the Google Maps listing in the footer and contact me before travelling to arrange your session.

It is my first tattoo and I am not sure about the idea yet. Can I ask for advice?

Yes. You can send references, explain what you would like to represent, and suggest a placement and approximate size. The consultation helps assess the idea and how to adapt it to your body before booking.

How can I get in touch and send references?

You can message @safo.nero on Instagram or contact me on WhatsApp at +34 667 055 448. Include your idea, references, placement and approximate size so I can assess the project.

I reply personally.

No commitment. The quote is discussed at the consultation, and the deposit is only asked when we set a date.
